Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum as I've only just become a vegetarian (best thing I've ever done). This may seem like a silly question but is there any cheese that is suitable for vegetarians that is made from something other than dairy products?

Hi Lee
There are a number of soy-based cheeses on the market. If you can get to Vegan's Choice at 113 King Street, Newtown, Sydney, they have a variety for sale.
Best to try them first as they taste somewhat different to cheese. Some supermarkets and health food stores should carry some as well (maybe Thomas Dux).
Thanks Mark. I would love to go and have a look at the one in Newtown. Might be on the agenda in the next couple of weeks. It's a shame there aren't any vegan/vegetarian shops on the northern suburbs.
Hi
I am a vegetarian so i want only green food. Cheese is a food consisting of proteins and fat from milk usually the milk of cows, buffalo or goats. Typically the milk is acidified. Hundreds of types of cheese are produced. Cheese is valued for long life, and high content of fat, protein, calcium, and phosphorus. _________________ R4 games.
