Australian Pork Limited are trying desperately to shut down the Aussie Pigs website. They've recently registered the business name 'Aussie Pigs' and are now trying to claim that we're breaching copyright by having the aussiepigs.com.au domain, asking the regulatory body to have the domain transferred to their ownership.
In case this somehow succeeds, please start using www.aussiepigs.com instead (no .au), as they can't do anything to stop us using a .com domain.
Much to hide, APL? With a sixth Australian piggery now exposed on the website, it's no surprise they're trying everything they can to prevent the public seeing it.
When we exposed Wallyís Piggery last year, they tried to pass it off as a one‑off, a rogue operator; but now that weíve exposed five additional piggeries with more to come, they know they canít keep using the same line and are instead trying to get these investigations swept under the rug. Itís a desperate bid to maintain the secrecy their industry relies on.
