American bestselling author and journalist, Michael Pollan, will make his Sydney Opera House debut this July. For the past 25 years Pollan has been opening our eyes to food with books like Food Rules[/], In [i]Defense of Food and The Omnivore’s Dilemma.

In 2010 Pollan was named one of Time magazine's '100 Most Influential People' and is a favorite among foodie and environmental crowds alike. When it comes to food, ethics and health, Pollan’s message is that we're not going to get it right until we start thinking about where our food comes from.

Exploring the ethical bonds that connect our bodies, farms and food, in this event Pollan will be in conversation telling complex stories in an engaging voice and reveal what our food system has become and just how badly we need to fix it.
