Noticed some fine looking Brussel Sprouts the other day and remembered Bubble & Squeak for breakfast! Traditionally this is cooked up from left overs, however you can just microwave a chopped potato and a couple of chopped large sprouts, mash and form into rough patties then fry in wok or pan. I like to add a sprinkle of Madras curry powder to mine when at the mashing stage. Served on toast it's a taste sensation!

Mmm that sounds delicious...you could even get a bit excited and add a teensy bit of garlic then too...and experiment with herbs and so on...

I will definitely have to keep that one in mind!

Bubble and squeak used to be popular many years ago. Good to see someone keeping up with tradition!

You could try adding turmeric as it is s subtle spice and the active ingredient, curcumin, protects against bowel cancer, according to research.
