Syndian, an Australian manufacturer of natural food products, has produced a new range of healthy vegetarian burgers with less than three grams of total fat has hit the shelves.
The new ‘Lighter Being’ range includes three burgers with each coming in at under 500kJ, compared to the average 688kJ of current burgers.
Like all of Syndian’s products, the burgers are also low in salt, vegan as well as gluten, soy and yeast free. They contain no preservatives, additives or artificial flavours and colourings.
The ‘Lighter Being’ range includes:
· Vegetable and lentil, made predominantly from lentil, corn, peas, carrots and a selection of herbs and spices
· Veg’ boost, made predominantly from peas, beans, cauliflower, potato, carrots, rice and a selection of herbs and spices
· Two beans and veg’, made from chickpea and Adzuki bean, flaxseed meal and plenty of pumpkin both fresh and roasted.
The burgers will be available from September in health food stores, independent supermarkets and most organic stores.
