In the past few weeks, over 20,000 people have added their name to the growing list of those who want to save Lentil As Anything at the Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne.
Through this massive pledge of support, the campaign to Save Lentil has secured the support of the Board of the Abbotsford Convent Foundation.
The voice of the thousands of Lentil supporters who signed our petition was instrumental in communicating to the Board the need to keep Lentil at the Convent. Thank you!
But we still need your support!
Lentil will have the opportunity to submit a proposal for lease renewal and we need your input!
The Convent’s vision is to be “an invaluable community resource and incubator for creativity, the sharing of ideas and a place of enjoyment”. To ensure that our proposal is strong and represents the voice of the community:

* Next Save Lentil meeting: Sunday May 2nd at 3:00pm at the Abbotsford Convent Bakery. We would like to invite community leaders and representatives from companies and organisations who support us to attend. We hope by the time this meeting occurs we will have reason for celebration.
* A community-initiated fundraiser will be held on May 6th at the Bendigo Hotel, Johnston Street. More details to follow!
