Dear Members and Supporters

To mark the beginning of Green Ribbon Week (today, Saturday April 18th) and World Week for Animals in Laboratories, the Australian Association for Humane Research is pleased to announce the official launch of our new Green Ribbon website.

The website delivers information and offers resources to the community, encouraging caring individuals to actively seek out and support alternatives to animal research. Please take a few minutes to explore this website yourself, and cross-post widely to your friends and family to help spread Green Ribbon Awareness for animals in laboratories.

If you haven't already done so, order your Green Ribbon lapel pins and other merchandise now. To do this, simply click on the merchandise page and follow the instructions - don't forget to order for your friends and family too! Satin ribbons, magnets and stickers are available to purchase, and fliers or posters can be downloaded free. We also encourage you to cut and paste the free Green Ribbon Week banner into your email signature, to help raise the profile of this most important week.

Please visit: www.humaneawareness.org.au

Whatever you can do to support Green Ribbon Week 2009 counts! Together we can make a difference!

Have a great Green Ribbon Week! And please feel free to join our mailing list at http://visitor.constantcontact.com/manage/optin/ea?v=001uxu9h741ik11f0pE3KKAPA%3D%3D

Kind Regards,
Emma Burgess
Humane Awareness Coordinator
