Farm Animal Rescue is now able to offer free accommodation at the farm in return for 10 hours per week of light animal care work.

The free accommodation includes private use of our furnished 2 bedroom bungalow with wood fire, full kitchen and bathroom, air conditioning, digital TV, wifi access and the swimming pool (not heated).

In return we will be asking for assistance between 5am and 6am, and then between 5pm and 6pm 5 days a week. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you wish. Dog walking and bird sitting are definitely acceptable options!

The farm is one mile from the village of Dayboro, which features 3 cafes, a grocery store, a famous pub, and other amenities including a heated swimming pool and tennis courts. The bus to the railway station leaves the village twice a day, trains take 35 minutes to get to Brisbane Central.

No food is included, but cooking facilities are available. Out of respect for the millions of animals that suffer in factory farms and slaughterhouses in Australia and around the world, we ask that no animal products such as meat, dairy and eggs are brought onto, or consumed on, the property.

This offer is open to a single person, or a couple. At this time only one bed is available. The minimum duration of your stay is 2 weeks, longer periods are definitely OK.

If you think you might be interested, and are available to move in in the next two weeks, please get in contact via farm@farmanimalrescue.org.au
