Quorn is a product made that was developed in the United Kingdom as a protein source called 'mycoprotein' which contains all essential amino acids. Made from the fungi family (the same family that morels and truffles belong to), it has been available in the UK for many years and, from June 2010, will be available in Australia.
Thanks, I will look out for them. I hope it is not as hard to find as Lam Yong products made from mushrooms which are impossible to find in my area even after emailing the company, no reply .
The more karma free products we have the better and the fungi base they use sounds delicious.

It is not actually vegan but it is largely plant-based. It suits a variety of cooking styles and, while it somewhat resembles chicken, it does have a taste of its own.
