You may already know that thousands of mice are killed in the potency testing of Botox, a 'beauty' product.

European anti-vivisection group, Antidote, has launched an international campaign urging manufacturer, Ipsen Ltd, to use non-animal methods of testing.

A full page article about their campaign appeared in the UK newspaper The People (which has a circulation of around 1 million) entitled, 'Botox Tests Horror'. The article shows a mouse being injected in the abdomen.

Antidote are asking supporters from around the world to write to Ipsen Ltd to ask why they do not use the non animal method instead of mice.
